Hello Gregory,
Susan Moon at the Walnut Creek Library Association let me know you’ll be at History Days at the Old Mint this weekend. I’ll be speaking there between 1 and 3 (I believe 1:30 more accurately) on Saturday. I see you’re on for Sunday at 1. We’re swimming in somewhat the same pond. Your schedule is amazing! My historical novel is Beautiful Illusion, Treasure Island, 1939. I’ve also been invited to the Library Gala on April 27. I’ll look for you tomorrow. The Bonanza King looks like a fabulous read!
Cheers,
Christie Nelson
Dear Christie, Thanks for reaching out. Your book sounds interesting. My last touched on Treasure Island (literally) in the ’30s and ’40s. I won’t be at History Days until Sunday. I’ve got another library event in Sacramento tomorrow, so History Days is Sunday only for me. The Library Gala will be fun! Cheers, Greg
