I made some mistakes. Here are the ones I’ve detected so far:
pp. 427: “Mackay was building 156 miles of undersea cable per day, at tremendous cost.” That’s incorrect. Should be 136 miles per month. “Mackay’s Pacific Cable,” Los Angeles Herald, January 16, 1902.
